About EsanSoCal
Esan Association of Edo State, Nigeria, Southern California Chapter (Esansocal) is a non-profit organization based in the greater Los Angeles area. The association was founded in 1990 by a few concerned sons and daughters of Esanland based mostly in Los Angeles and Pasadena areas. At the time, the idea of the group was merely to form an association that will cater to the immediate needs of its members locally. The mission at the time was to facilitate a forum where sons and daughters of Esan heritage will meet periodically for social and cultural gathering events.
EsanSoCal Today
Today, the association has grown numerically, structurally and financially. With well over 65 registered adult members and well over 90 children, we have come a long way. The growth of the association coupled with identified needs in Esanland, the goals, visions and aspirations of EsanSocal have equally expanded.
We continue to seek for growth and to this end; we encourage the sons and daughters of Esanland who are yet to join the association to come on in. You do not have to live in the greater Los Angeles area to join, membership is open to all Esan sons and daughters who reside in southern California.
Please fill out the contact form and one of our official will contact you as soon as possible.
Mission Statement
To build a bridge of commutation and partnership between the Esan people, governmental entities, none profit organizations, and businesses here and those in Nigeria.
